I think you showed the best the complicated nature of their relationship. When together they hurt each other. When apart they also hurt each other. Lestat had same reaction at the trial/in old house when he asked Louis about 1973. They were battling in those past two season since they had different views on vampirism. 0:10 NOT "YOU DID GOOD GETTING OFF THAT BOAT WHEN YOU DID" WHEN TRIAL WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IF LESTAT WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE 0:14 twisting the kife, I see 2:10 he literally pressed his face against his longing 😭 I have so many thoughts. The scenes you put together gave me a different perspective on this show.
